Thickeners, as the main concentration and dewatering equipment in solid-liquid separation process systems, are widely used in fields such as mining, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and environmental protection.
The traditional thickener (Dalton thickener) was introduced in 1905, with the rake thickener as a representative, making continuous dewatering of pulp possible. In the 1960s, to meet the requirements of high processing capacity and high underflow concentration, various high-efficiency thickeners were developed and promoted abroad, among which the widely used ones include the Amec type, the Eriez Smith type, and the Dorr-Oliver type, etc.
At present, the main type of thickener used in the metal mining field is the center drive high-efficiency thickener, and the products mostly adopt the technical routes of Metso Outotec, Western Technology, Eriez Smith, etc. Our company has developed the WNM series of high-efficiency thickeners with international leading advantages based on the Eriez Smith electric drive and self-thinning feeding technology route. We aim to capture a high-end market share in the field of concentration and dewatering equipment for metal mines and expand into the chemical and environmental protection markets.
