XCMG 35m³ Electric Shovel Comes off the Line with Glory

XES35 electric shovel is another masterpiece of XCMG to meet the demand of global mines for large-scale, green and intelligent mining equipment, with a dead weight of about 1100 tons, a height of 18.5 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a six-story building, a standard bucket capacity of 35m³, and a bucket of about 65 tons of ore. It is suitable for stripping and loading operations in iron ore, non-ferrous metal mines with an annual output of more than 10 million tons, and has the advantages of high intelligence level, high green level, high reliability, high comfort and low comprehensive use cost.

After nearly two years of incubation, the localization rate of XES35 electric shovel has reached over 90%, and XCMG’s original technology has been formed in the areas of long-life design technology based on the joint simulation of discrete element and multi-body dynamics for large heavy-duty structural parts, welding deformation control and welding stress relief technology, which has greatly shortened the last step of China’s breakthrough in core key technology in the field of large mining excavation equipment.
