As Bohai Bay endures the bitter cold of -20°C, XCMG’s new-energy reach stackers and empty container handlers — characterized by zero emissions, robust power, high intelligence, and extreme cold resistance​ — have been delivered in batches to a key hub port in northern Bohai Bay. This deployment charts a new course​ for the port’s green transformation and upgrade.

Defining technology through real-world scenarios, XCMG has developed a customized cold-region solution​ that integrates green and intelligent design. The new-generation E-series equipment ensures the efficient and stable operation of the three-core electric system​ in temperatures as low as -20°C, significantly boosting overall operational energy efficiency.

Previously, XCMG’s electric empty container handlers became the first and only pure-electric mobile machinery​ at this port.
