
On January 27, Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Nigeria’s Dangote Group, led a delegation on a field visit to XCMG Group. He held in-depth discussions with Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of both XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery and Secretary of the Party Committee, alongside other senior executives.
Yang Dongsheng warmly welcomed Mr. Dangote and his delegation. He provided a systematic overview of XCMG’s transformation journey, strategic layout, and latest achievements in its “Five Modernizations” initiative (focused on intelligent, green, and other transformative upgrades). Yang also expressed appreciation for Dangote Group’s longstanding contributions to advancing industrialization in Africa. Aliko Dangote commended XCMG’s global strategy, smart manufacturing capabilities, equipment reliability, and lifecycle service support. On site, the two sides reached consensus on supporting Africa’s sustainable development goals and advancing energy transition strategies.
