XCMG XZ6600 Successfully Completes Directional Drilling Project in Hebei

XCMG XZ6600 made a successful appearance in Huanghua, Hebei Province, by completing the directional drilling of a pipeline with a diameter of 1219mm and a total length of 2003.08m. The XCMG XZ6600 horizontal directional drilling rig is independently developed by XCMG Foundation to meet customer needs for a large-tonnage horizontal directional drilling rig.

Facing multiple complex geological conditions such as large diameter, long distance, alternating soft and hard layers, limited prefabrication areas, and difficult mud preparation, the XCMG XZ6600 horizontal directional drilling rig successfully completed the back-pulling in one go, thanks to its fast rotation speed, high torque, and strong push-pull force!

At the same time, XCMG provided professional technical support and a complete set of solutions, combining double drilling rig alignment technology and double drilling rig reaming construction technology to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

In this directional drilling project, the project team strictly implemented green construction requirements, aiming for "low fuel consumption and high efficiency" during the construction. The XCMG XZ6600 horizontal directional drilling rig is equipped with a dual-engine power system, which not only has powerful drilling power and strong formation adaptability but also saves fuel, consuming 30% less than traditional rigs, showcasing its green, efficient, and energy-saving features, perfectly meeting the contractor's requirements.

It is worth mentioning that the double drilling rig reaming technology was used for the first time in this project, which not only improved construction efficiency but also ensured project quality and safety. The application of this innovative technology brought the completion date forward by a month, fully demonstrating the stability, reliability, and high efficiency of the XCMG XZ6600.
