XCMG XE215E Electric Excavator Put into Key Project

In respond to the call of “emission peak” and “carbon neutrality”, Sichuan Province issued a document at the beginning of 2022, calling for the electrification transformation of engineering construction equipment.

Narrow tunnel requires high flexibility. In addition, with the increase of the tunnel depth, the water inflow also rises. Therefore, the construction equipment must resist the erosion of moisture all the time.

The expert manufacturing process along with IP67 electrical protection standard has given XE215E a solid and resistant shell. The machine also comes with more than 30 safety protection measures, which can deal with unexpected situations in the tunnel at any time.

 

For the high dust working condition, XCMG XE215E electric excavator adopts positive pressure cab design, which can avoid dust particles from entering the cab and keep the air fresh.

 

Sichuan Transportation Construction Group, which undertook the tunnel project, tested the performance of the XE215E for several months. Mr. Wu, head of the material and equipment section of the project department, praised, “XE215E has flexible steering and convenient operation, and is suitable for tunnel construction.”
