A. Cleaning

 

After each operation, the roller must be washed off the dirt and dust on it, at this time should pay special attention to the diesel engine, generator, starter motor, injection pump, injector, hydraulic pump, etc., as well as the appearance of the hydraulic pipeline clean, must use a dry soft rag to wipe these places clean.

 

If the road roller is parked for a long time, the water in the engine water tank must be released. Carefully clean off the dirt and dust on the machine, scrub the outer surface of the parts with kerosene and all lubrication holes and inject a grease, the exposed part of the unpainted should be coated with butter or anti-rust rubber.

 

B. Storage

 

Road roller should be stored in a dry warehouse, prohibit the storage of extraneous items and gasoline, in case of open-air parking in the rain, parking ground should be kept dry, it must be covered with a rainproof cloth.

 

C. Transportation

 

When transporting the roller for a short distance, according to the road, the roller can be driven at high speed by itself. In the long-distance delivery of the roller, the roller should be transported on a flatbed trailer, in the lifting and transportation, the safety locking device on the body should be used to lock the frame to prevent the body and the frame from relative rotation, while the roller should be securely fixed on the flatbed trailer.
