East Anglia Three, a wind farm project in the UK, is set to receive a boost from Spanish electric utility multinational, Iberdrola, which will deliver 95 wind turbines of 14.7MW each. The total combined capacity of renewable energy will reach 1.4GW. Upon completion, the fully-commissioned wind farm will generate enough electricity to power 1.3 million homes.

The project will be located 69km from Great Yarmouth, and Iberdrola anticipates that over 2,300 jobs will be created during its two-year construction phase, along with an additional 100 roles for operation and maintenance. Ignacio Sánchez Galán, the chairman of Iberdrola, believes that the project will not only support the UK's net-zero commitment and energy security but also contribute billions of pounds in investment and thousands of jobs across the UK, as part of the East Anglia Hub projects. Iberdrola's subsidiary, ScottishPower, has already secured contracts worth almost €80 million for East Anglia Three, and the company is expected to invest around 2.3 billion in the UK throughout the project's life.
