350 XCMG new energy methanol mine trucks are busy working in a mine in Xinjiang, creating a spectacular scene. The area is prone to extreme weather conditions like high heat and sandstorms, posing a serious challenge to the construction. The XCMG XKT136 methanol extended-range mine dump truck is demonstrating peak performance. The XKT136 methanol extended-range mine dump truck is XCMG's contribution to its "dual carbon" goals in the mining machinery sector, providing another new energy mining equipment to support research and development in green manufacturing and related fields.

Methanol boasts attributes such as a high octane value, low pollution, and smokeless combustion. Under complete combustion, it can reduce hydrocarbon emissions by 40%, significantly cleaning engine carbon deposits and pipeline residue. Compared to traditional fuel vehicles, the XKT136 offers energy savings of over 35%, translating to annual fuel cost savings of about 400,000 RMB, achieving cost reduction and increased efficiency.

The core of XCMG's new energy methanol mine truck lies in its cutting-edge "dual motor extended-range power generation module + dual motor drive system," allowing the vehicle to operate continuously for 24 hours, eliminating concerns about range. It's equipped with a drive system that can deliver a maximum output of 1088 horsepower, enabling the gearbox to achieve seamless automatic shifting under all operating conditions.

Additionally, the truck features a 1200L specialized methanol tank, the largest in the industry, meeting demands for over 12 hours of transport. It's also equipped with an efficient intelligent energy recovery system, maximizing the overall range of the vehicle and marking a historic leap from "compliant emissions" to "near-zero emissions" and even "zero emissions" green mining.

"This vehicle has performed remarkably well in operation, with an attendance rate exceeding 95% and high transportation efficiency. If it's promoted throughout Xinjiang, the emission reduction benefits will be even more pronounced!" a pleased customer exclaimed. Since its launch in January 2023, more than 350 units of the XKT136 have been deployed in operation at a mine in Xinjiang.
